A dark chocolate shell around a semi-hard liquorice toffee centre — Bingó Kúlur are the candy you bite into slowly and then don't stop chewing for a while. The toffee softens as you work through it, releasing the liquorice gradually, mixing with the bittersweet dark chocolate. A favourite since the 1970s, and the one Icelandic liquorice fans argue is the best of all of them.
