EMBLA is built from many fine layers of non-woven Icelandic wool, which trap air between the fibres and make the duvet an outstanding thermal insulator without weight. Icelandic wool is dual-coated: fine insulating inner fibres (þel) and water-repellent outer fibres, the product of over 1,100 years of sub-arctic isolation. That structure regulates both temperature and moisture, so you stay dry rather than overheating. Suited to bedroom temperatures of 17-22°C and to sleepers who normally use an average-weight duvet. Certified STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX. Made by Ístex, which processes around 99% of all Icelandic wool and is 80% owned by Icelandic farmers.
